"THE SET UP"

This story takes place in the mid 1990 or there about. I was living where i am now.

So this day the phone rang, i answered it and it was someone cleaning carpets for a living. I said, sorry, but i have no carpets on the floor. So then she wanted to know what i had on the floor? I replied, and why do you want to know that? She kept right on asking questions, but i would not answered them. So then i hang the phone up.

About one minutes later the phone rang again, so i answered it and it was a same woman. So i said, "okay, what do you want?" She replied, " me and my man was thinking that our daughter would make a good woman for you. Since you do not have one." So we talk for awhile and i told her that i did not want or need a woman. She did not want to hang up, but i said good-bye and hang up.

Now come to find out what was going on, was this. Her daughter was working in the city and she had just lost her job. And she was moving back home, with her mother and father. But her mother and father did not want her to move back home because they was to mean to take care of her. Plus they had more money than they could ever spend. So they was trying to find a man, that would take her off their hands.

But no way was it going to be me. lol.

"THE WOMAN BEHIND THE COUNTER"

So the following week i went down to the same town for to buy my groceries. So after awhile i got them and went up to the counter. When i got there i look all around, but there was no one there but me and the woman behind the counter. She said, what wrong, why are you looking around. I said the last two times i was in here some woman try to grab me and ran off with me. But i guess i am safe this time. She then said, "i would like to take you home with me because you are a hunk". I look at her and said," not you to". She then said, " i would love to have you". I said, you can look but you no can touch. Then i left the store, never to return to that store again. lol.

"ANOTHER TRICK"

Another day that same summer, i was in the town on the lower side of me buying my grocery. So when i got everything i wanted, i went up to the counter and put it all on the counter.

When out of no where a coloured woman came up and put all of her grocerys in with mine stuff. Then she put her arm around me and said to the woman behind the counter, "he is paying for mine stuff to and then i am taking him home with me". I look at her and said, i think not and moved her stuff from mine and then pay for my stuff. Then i got a heck out of there. lol.

"THE LITTLE GIRL TRICK"

One day i was in town on the lower side of me, doing some shopping. So i went into the local grocery store, got a shopping cart and started doing my grocery shopping. I knew what i wanted, but i look around at all of the groceries as i was shopping. I did get abit more than i had plan to buy, but that was fine.

So then i headed up to the counter for to pay for my stuff. There was a small line up of peoples waiting there. So anywhere my turn came and i put my stuff on the counter. The woman behind the counter rang everything in and i pay for it.

So she then started bagging everything up. When all of the sudden, i felt something tug at my left arm. I look down and there was this very little girl, standing there. I look at her and spoke to her, then she said, my mommy like you and pointed over to her mother. Who by the way only had five kids around her and one of them was a baby.

I looked at the woman behind the counter and pick up my bags of foods and got the heck out of there as fast as i could go.
