"MY FIRST SPAWN OF ANGEL FISH"

This is a story about the first spawn of angel fish that i had.

I had to clean my angel fish aquarium out, so i put my two large angels in a ten gallon aquarium. So after i clean their tank and re-set it back up, i then went to get them. But low and behold, they was laying eggs. So i kept a eye on them. After they got done laying eggs they kept cleaning them. And a few days later they hatch.

They took very good care of the young, but after a few days i had to take the old pair out, because there was not enough room for them all. As the young grew, i moved them to a larger aquarium. At 75 days old, i had 74 young angel fish. So then i sold them to one of the local pet shops.

"Paradise Fish"

A few years back, i got some black paradise fish. I had all the other colors of paradise fish, so i wanted some black ones. So i got one of the pet shop up the line to order me in some. So they came and i went and got them. Then i decided to spawn them. That was very easily to do. So they had young.

But then the fun started, i could not put them with anything others, because they love to fight. Whatever i put them with, they would beat it up. So i had to keep them in their own aquarium. Then they try to kill each other. lol.

One day i happen to see something moved on the floor, so i got a closer look at it, and found that it was a black paradise fish. It look like a hair ball. lol. So i pick it up and drop it in a aquarium. It shook itself off and attacked the other fish that was in the tank. I think it blame them for it jumping out. lol.

So then and there i decided to sell them to the local pet shop. So i pack them up and took them up to his pet shop. He pay me for them. I told him they was very mean and may kill whatever was in the tank. He said, ok, i will put them in a cichlid tank.

So a couples of weeks later, i went up to his shop and went in. When he got done waiting on the person, he look at me and said, you better not have more of them black paradise fish with you. I said no i do not, but why? Well he said, i put them in my cichlid tank and went home after work. And do you know what i found the next morning when i came to my shop? I said no what?

He said all of my cichlid was dead. I said why? The black paradise fish killed them all during the night. I said, no way. He said, all was torn to pieces and dead but the black paradise fish was swimming around having a great time. I said, i told you they was mean, but that mean.

"MY BIG CATFISH"

 

A FEW YEARS BACK, I WAS GIVEN A BIG CATFISH. IT LOOK LIKE A AMERICAN BULLHEAD CATFISH. BUT THE PEOPLES SAID NO IT WAS NOT. THEY SAID THAT THEY HAD GOT IT FROM A PET SHOP.

 

 AFTER I GOT HIM, THEN I FOUND OUT THAT HE CAME FROM ONE OF THE LAKES IN DIGBY COUNTY.

 

I HAD HIM FOR QUITE A FEW YEARS BUT LAST SUMMER (2006) HE DIE. WHEN HE DIE ,HE WAS OVER 12 INCHES LONG.  HE WAS A VERY GENTLE FISH.

 

I WOULD HAND FEED HIM. HE WOULD COME AND TAKE THE FOOD FROM MY FINGERS. HIS FAVORITE FOODS WAS EARTH WORMS. HE WOULD EAT AND EAT. LOL.

 

DIFFERENT TIMES I HAD TO MOVE HIM OUT OF HIS TANK AND INTO ANOTHER TANK. I WOULD REACH IN AND PET HIM AND THEN VERY CAREFULLY, PUT MY HAND AROUND HIM AND MOVED HIM TO HIS NEW  TANK.

 WHILE I WAS DOING THIS, HE NEVER MOVED. BUT HE WOULD BE DOING SOME TALKING, WHILE HE WAS BEING MOVED TO HIS NEW TANK. LOL.

 

YOU GOT TO BE VERY CAREFULL WHEN YOU MOVED A BULLHEAD CATFISH, BECAUSE THEY HAVE 3 SHARP SPINES, ONE ON EACH SIDE AND ONE ON TOP. THESE ARE VERY SHARP, AND WILL HURT FOR AWHILE, IF HE GET YOU WITH ONE.

 

HE ALSO LOVE TO BE PETTED. AND WHEN KIDS CAME TO MY PET SHOP, THAT WAS THE FIRST TANK THEY SEEN. EVERYBODY THAT CAME LIKE HIM.

 

FOR A FISH, HE WAS A VERY NICE PET.

 

"A 100 Gallon Aquarium"

A few years ago i got a one hundred gallon aquarium. This is a story of how i got it.

I was sitting in my lady boy easy chair, halp to sleep. When the phoned rang. So i got up and answer it. They wanted to know if i would be interested in buying a used 100 gallon aquarium. When i heard 100 gallon aquarium, i came wide awake. lol. I said, i would love to have it but the thing is, what do you want for it? Well they said, we was asking $15.00 for it, but if you do not have a money, we would take 15 guppies for it. Plus they said, they would bring it to my place for me.

So i said, i am on my way to your place. So i went up and look at it and we put it on the truck and they brought it down to my place. It came with a home made stand, to. So we got it in the house and they help me get it to where i wanted it. Then i give them 15 guppies for it and they left. I had always wanted a 100 gallon aquarium, but i knew i could never get enough money for to buy one. And here i was more or less giving one. Needless to say, i was some old happy.

I also still got that aquarium to. I now got it set up under my counter. Now since that time, i had got other 100 gallons aquarium quite cheap, but i sell them ones. About two years before i got this one hundred gallon aquarium, there was a pet shop open in the town on the lower side of me. And the day they open, they had a 100 gallon aquarium for sale for only $1000.00 dollars. Plus they sold that 100 gallon aquarium the same day they open for $1000.00. I had always wonder if this aquarium might be that same one. lol.
